Job summary

Flagship Facility Services, Inc. is seeking an On-Call Day Porter in Mesa, AZ to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across client facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for occupants.

The role requires performing routine cleaning tasks, restrooms sanitation, trash disposal, spill response, equipment operation, and adherence to safety guidelines. Flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are required. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions required.
• Completion of significant safety training is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting various areas within assigned area.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygienic conditions at all times.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies to ensure safety.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with airport security and safety regulations.
• Assist in special cleaning projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
