Libertas School of Memphis is seeking a Full-Time Daily Substitute Teacher to join our Montessori-inspired elementary program in Memphis, TN. You will support regular teachers, help maintain a calm, engaging classroom, and assist with transitions and routines across the day.

Responsibilities include classroom supervision, collaboration with families, and participation in school events. A high school diploma or GED is required; strong communication and flexibility are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience in high-need communities or Montessori environment.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist regular classroom teacher and reinforce instruction as directed.
• Foster a peaceful, orderly, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supervise students on the playground, during lunch, field trips, and transitions.
• Participate in classroom family communication and meetings as needed.
