Job summary

Western State Bank in Devils Lake, ND is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Representative to deliver a superior in-branch and remote experience. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and cross-sell solutions to meet banking needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, cash handling experience preferred, and the ability to work 9:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Monday–Friday, with up to two Saturdays monthly. Benefits are included.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the “face of the bank” by providing a superior customer experience to our bank customers in Western’s day-to-day business. Position is responsible to provide a positive and impactful impression to our customers through an exceptional, accurate, and efficient customer experience and provide customers solution-based business development and referrals within the bank in accordance to our organizations’ vision, core values, and team guidelines.

Duties and responsibilities

• Referrals: Refer customers to other departments in the bank by looking for opportunities to cross-sell and recognizing customer needs and corresponding solutions.
• Standard and Miscellaneous CSR Tasks: Balance draw on a daily basis, complete required compliance trainings, order supplies, and assist with miscellaneous internal projects.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous cash handling experience preferred.

This is a full-time position with a full benefit package.

Scheduled hours: Regular hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position also requires availability to work up to two Saturdays per month as needed to support business operations.
