REPORTS TO : Plant Foreman and Principal

JOB GOAL: Provide students with a safe, clean, environment in which to learn

Responsibilities

• Keep buildings (including classrooms, hallways and bathrooms) and premises (including sidewalks, parking lots and driveways) clean at all times.
• Oversee set up and break down of evening athletic events.
• Make minor building repairs. Report major repairs or damage to school property to the Director of Operations.
• Assume responsibility for the closing of the building each school day and determine before leaving that all doors and windows are secured, and all lights are turned off.
• Care for supplies and equipment and requisition needed replacements far enough in advance so that they may be delivered in such time as will not hinder duties.
• Move furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities and as directed by the Director of Operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
