Silverado Thousand Oaks is hiring Full Time Culinary Aide to support memory care dining services. You will help with food prep, dishwashing, meal cart delivery, and dining area setup to create a warm, nourishing environment for residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and compassion, with paid training and opportunities for internal mobility within a nationally recognized aging services leader.

Competenze

• Food Handlers Certificate from county health department.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
• Ability to walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

We’re hiring Culinary Aides - dedicated team members who help create a warm, nourishing, and welcoming dining experience for our residents. This role blends food service skills, attention to detail, and a heart for hospitality.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation

Qualifications:

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards

Schedule: Full Time, multiple shifts available, variable days, open availability preferred

Anticipated pay range

$20 - $22 USD
