Job summary

Silverado Beverly Place is seeking a Culinary Aide to support warm, nourishing dining for residents in a memory care setting. You will assist with food prep, service, and dining area upkeep while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes care, consistency and teamwork, with paid training and opportunities for internal mobility. Anticipated pay range is $19–$20 per hour, for part-time evening shifts in Los Angeles, CA.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certificate required by County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations required.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Communicates effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Comfortable around animals and pets.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of food service areas.
• Deliver resident meal carts and stock refrigerators.
• Set and clean dining areas to ensure a pleasant mealtime experience.

Anticipated pay range
