Job summary

GRAND Mental Health in Oklahoma provides crisis stabilization services in URC and CSU, seeking a Psychiatric Technician to deliver direct, compassionate care to individuals in behavioral health crises. You will observe, document, and support the treatment team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, monitoring changes in condition, and supporting therapeutic interventions while maintaining professional boundaries and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: CNA, RBT, CMA certifications or equivalents.
• Experience in behavioral health crisis services or related settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, person-centered support to individuals in URC and CSU.
• Assist with daily living activities and basic personal care as appropriate.
• Monitor individuals for changes in behavior, mental status, or safety concerns and report observations promptly.
• Support nurses and clinical staff with routine care activities as trained.
• Assist with admission, transition, and disposition within crisis services.
• Engage with individuals to provide reassurance and emotional support.
• Utilize trauma-informed, recovery-oriented approaches in all interactions.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in electronic records.
