All Medical Personnel is seeking a compassionate crisis support specialist to provide direct, person-centered assistance to individuals in crisis at dedicated crisis centers. Qualifications

Join a dedicated team providing essential crisis stabilization and behavioral health support to individuals experiencing mental health, behavioral health, or substance use crises. Responsibilities

• Provide direct, person-centered support to individuals in crisis at crisis centers, including Urgent Recovery Centers and Crisis Stabilization Units.
• Welcome and assist individuals entering crisis services, fostering a calm, respectful, and supportive environment.
• Observe individuals for changes in behavior, mental status, physical condition, mood, and safety concerns; promptly communicate observations to the clinical team.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living and basic personal care needs as appropriate.
• Obtain and document vital signs and health information within the scope of training and competency.
• Support nurses and clinical staff with routine care activities as trained.
• Assist with admissions, transitions, discharges, and movement of individuals throughout services.
• Provide ongoing emotional support, reassurance, and redirection to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health symptoms.
• Apply verbal de-escalation techniques and other crisis intervention strategies to ensure safety and reduce escalation.
• Maintain a safe and organized environment, including unit safety monitoring and cleanliness.
• Participate in therapeutic activities, structured programming, and recovery-focused initiatives.
• Complete accurate and professional documentation in electronic health records and other systems.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral health and medical emergencies following organizational protocols.
• Communicate effectively during shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with team members across disciplines to provide integrated crisis services.
• Follow infection prevention, medication safety, confidentiality, and organizational policies.
• Maintain professional boundaries and respect the dignity and rights of individuals served.

• Completion of GRAND orientation, training, competencies, and ongoing education required.
• Preferred: Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
• Previous experience in behavioral health, crisis services, inpatient psychiatric care, or related human services preferred.
• Availability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on program needs.
