RUPCO INC. is seeking a Courtesy Shuttle Driver to transport Willow Landing residents on a local, looped route throughout the day. The role requires greeting residents, assisting with boarding, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Buses are equipped for accessibility and routes include medical, legal, and shopping destinations. The position is full-time with benefits, hours may be flexible, and NYS driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record maintained and eligible for RUPCO auto insurance
• Effective communication with residents and staff
• Friendly, personable approach with tenants and visitors
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and service
• Flexibility to adjust driving assignments as needed
• Ability to follow program rules and safety guidelines
• Experience in customer service or working with diverse populations
• Basic computer use for checking email and recording hours

Responsibilities

• Greeting residents using courtesy transportation in a friendly manner
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the bus
• Ensure safety belts and mobility equipment are used
• Conduct pre-ride inspections of the bus
• Perform routine bus cleaning after each run and thorough cleaning at shift end
• Maintain daily mileage and passenger logs
• Report incidents to management and documentation
• Support safety practices and accident reporting
