Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will reside in on-campus homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transitions to a placed houseparent later. Benefits include salary per person, housing, meals, and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year minimum commitment; couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
