Job summary

Autumn Lake at Ballenger Creek in Frederick, MD is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role. The position involves delivering occupational therapy under licensed supervision, assisting residents with ADLs, and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents with ADLs and functional tasks.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising OT.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques, equipment use, and safety strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing and other rehabilitation professionals.
