Job summary

Autumn Lake at Perring Parkway in Parkville, MD is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time role focuses on helping residents regain independence through ADLs, strength, coordination, and functional mobility under the supervision of an OT.

We offer competitive pay of $33–$38 per hour plus medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, CE support, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative therapy team in a skilled nursing

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and functional mobility.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safe daily activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other rehabilitation professionals.

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Perring Parkway.
