Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Memorial Bridge in Carneys Point, NJ. This full-time opportunity supports residents to improve independence through hands-on therapy and personalized treatment plans.

You'll assist with activities of daily living, supervise under an OT, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey COTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT.
• Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the clinical team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and therapeutic activities.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
