Job summary

Independence Rehab is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the Bethany at Pacific therapy team in Everett, WA. The role involves resident rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and collaborative care with the interdisciplinary team at a skilled nursing facility inside Providence Regional Medical Center.

The successful candidate will be a licensed OTA with a passion for geriatrics, organized and patient-centered, with SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused.
• Passion for working with the geriatric population.
• One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Treat a diverse SNF caseload and support rehabilitation and long-term care goals.
• Collaborate with the therapy team and interdisciplinary care providers.
• Assist with transfers and adaptive ADL retraining.
• Work with the evaluating OT to ensure coordinated care.
• Take part in competency training and professional growth.
