Job summary

Continental Services is seeking a Cook for the Cuyahoga County Justice Center. The role emphasizes preparing high-quality meals, maintaining safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow recipes, manage prep, and ensure clean, well-organized workstations while meeting daily menus and timelines. The position requires teamwork, communication and flexibility across shifts.

• Working knowledge of food handling, sanitation and safety.
• Good hygiene and hand washing skills.
• Able to communicate daily with others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality food product.
• Oversee that our product tastes, looks, and provides adequate portions.
• Follow recipes and production guidelines.
• Keep work area clean, organized and sanitary.
• Manage time to stay on track with prep and service.
• Adhere to daily menu and prep lists.
• Work independently at assigned station.
• Anticipate customer needs and build rapport with repeat customers.
• Provide a positive experience through engagement and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
• Suggest add-ons to orders.
• Be flexible to cover additional tasks as needed.
