Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking a dependable Full-Time Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in coordination with the Dietary Services team. This role emphasizes health, safety, and quality of life for residents through adherence to physician orders and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities include cooking, portioning, sanitation, and collaboration with healthcare staff to ensure meals meet standards. We offer a supportive workplace with opportunities for growth and recognition.

Qualificações

• Previous cooking experience required; healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living experience preferred.
• Food Handler's Certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and recipes.
• Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
• Follow all sanitation, food safety, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain production records.
• Assist with inventory and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and leadership.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
