Job summary

Acacia Health Center in Northeast Phoenix/Scottsdale is hiring a full-time Cook to join our team. We're part of Sagewood Senior Living Community, a CMS 5-Star Rated Facility, offering a resort-style setting in a healthcare building that supports skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care. Pay is $20/hr with a 10:00a-6:00p schedule, every other weekend.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a cook in a restaurant, senior living, hotel, or similar.
• Arizona Food Handler Card is required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card is required (we can help you obtain it).
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents with attention to quality and safety.
• Follow portion control and dietary restrictions as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
• Assist with meal service and support a positive dining experience.

• Comfortable working every other weekend and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Arizona Food Handler Card required
