Job summary

The Elms Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Cranbury in New Jersey is seeking a full-time cook to join our dietary team. You will prepare meals according to planned menus and ensure they are palatable and served with proper portion control.

Responsibilities include supervising dietary aides and dishwasher, preparing meals for therapeutic diets, following standardized recipes, and providing bedtime snacks. Prior supervisory food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year supervisory food service experience preferred.

• - Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• -Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• -Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.
