Job summary

Wesley Willows Corporation is seeking a Full-Time Cook for our Rockton, IL location. The role offers day shifts and a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities to support dining services for residents and guests in a long-term care setting.

You will prepare meals per planned menus, operate kitchen equipment, and maintain sanitation, while collaborating with the dining team to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Active ServeSafe/Food Safety Managers Certification (required).
Must be 18 years of age to operate potentially hazardous equipment (required).
2 years of institutional cooking in long-term care or assisted living (required).
Institutional cooking, with fine dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of foods per menus, dietary requirements, and safety standards.
Operate kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area.
Assist with food storage and inventory.
Support special functions and events.
Collaborate with dining services team to ensure quality service.
Uphold a safe, efficient, customer-focused kitchen environment.
