Job summary

The Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston (ERJCC) located in Houston, TX, is hiring a women’s gymnastics coach for the Development Program with a focus on beam and floor for Level 2–10. The role requires strong technical coaching, planning, and meeting coordination with families and staff.

Responsibilities include routine construction, competition entry management, and travel during competition seasons. Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years coaching experience with Level 10s.
• Proficiency in MS Office and internet browsers.
• Knowledge of USAG Development Program rules.
• CPR/First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with athletes, parents, coaches, supervisors, and medical staff.
• Create training plans for all levels.
• Manage administrative tasks for competitive team, including the USAG Meet Reservation system and meet entries within deadlines.
• Teach/ demonstrate compulsory routines on Beam and Floor.
• Design and create choreography for optional levels 6–10.
• Spot and assist gymnasts during Level 10 skills.
