Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Dallas is seeking a Gymnastics Coach to teach classes, coach teams, and help plan gymnastics programs. This is a part-time, non-exempt role with evenings and weekend hours; weekly hours may not exceed 29 per week.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Strong gymnastics background.
• Experience working with preschool children through teenagers.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Must be innovative, energetic and a positive role model.

Responsibilities

• Coach gymnastics classes and lead team activities following instructor guidelines.
• Coach compulsories through early optionals (Levels 1-3 and Xcel) at competitions.
• Set up and clean gymnastic equipment daily for classes and teams.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the gymnastics area and perform safety checks.
• Assist directors with planning, implementation and day-to-day gymnastics programs.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Attend mandatory meetings and ensure regular attendance.
