Job summary

Valley View Retirement Community in Pennsylvania is seeking compassionate and dependable Resident Assistants to support residents' comfort, dignity, and well-being. This full-time role involves personal care, meals, activities, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for older adults.

You’ll respond to emergencies, assist with dining, housekeeping, and laundry, and help lead social activities. Prior caregiving or senior living experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support based on individualized resident service plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency call systems and resident needs.
• Assist with meals, dining room setup, and cleanup.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment.
• Support social and recreational activities while encouraging resident participation.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, preferences, or health status.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, snacks, and beverages as needed.
