Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Server to provide attentive table service in our on-site restaurant for residents and guests. The role collaborates with the Dining Room Coordinator and other servers to deliver meals and assist with special events in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused community.

The ideal candidate is reliable, empathetic, and able to thrive in a physically active setting. Prior dining experience is preferred, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position.
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal.
