The Arc Of Southern Maryland in Prince Frederick, MD seeks a Van Driver- St.Mary's County to provide safe, reliable transportation for individuals supported by the agency. This full-time role pays $20–$21 per hour and reports to the Community Services Manager.

Responsibilities include operating the van, assisting passengers, coordinating routes, keeping vehicles clean, handling minor maintenance, and responding to emergencies with First Aid/CPR as needed.

Formación

• Graduation from accredited high school or GED.
• Three years of driving experience; CDL preferred but not required.
• Adequate vision and hearing to supervise passengers and respond to emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Assists passengers in and out of the vehicle; uses ramps, lifts and tie-downs as needed.
• Reads maps/directions to plan efficient routes and follows road signs in English.
• Keeps vehicles clean inside and out and performs minor maintenance.
• Fuels vehicles and responds to emergencies; provides First Aid until responders arrive.
• Supports consumers as Direct Support; crisis intervention as required and documents accordingly.
