Covenant Living Communities and Services in Illinois is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care.

As a CNA, you will provide daily direct care, support residents with personal tasks, and collaborate with nurses to maintain a safe, respectful, faith-based environment. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager or licensed nurses on duty or supervisory staff.
• Provides direct daily care to residents.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignments.
• Care includes bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding and transfers.
• Keeps resident rooms clean and orderly; changes linen, makes beds and tidies spaces.
• Assists with resident laundry; ensures clothes are marked, clean, mended and put away.
• Notifies supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving and feeding.
• May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.

Education
