Job summary

HMG Healthcare LLC in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily living support to residents at Tanglewood Nursing & Rehabilitation. You will work with nursing staff to monitor residents, assist with activities of daily living, and help ensure safety and comfort.

Required CNA certification recognized in Kansas, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a state-approved CNA training program.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification recognized by KANSAS.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety standards.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure as directed by nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance, including helping residents move safely around the facility and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the nursing team promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents by following infection control protocols and facility policies.
• Support nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
