Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Charlottesville to support assisted living residents with companionship and daily living activities. The role requires compassionate service, reliability, and a willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; CNA certification is preferred but not required. CPR/First Aid are preferred, with prior experience caring for older adults being a plus.

• Performs light housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Assists with dining as needed under supervision
• Keeps residents engaged and happy with activities

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Charlottesville

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
