Job summary
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Registered Nurse-Clinical Nurse Educator for VA Connecticut Healthcare Systems, located in West Haven, CT. This full-time position focuses on hospital education, staff development, and clinical instruction across nursing units.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with active US nursing license
- Masters degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred
- Experience in education program development and evaluation
Responsibilities
- Provide expert education to nursing staff in ICU and clinical areas
- Instruct and train nursing staff; orient new employees
- Develop and implement learning plans to address clinical deficiencies
- Lead continuing education program development and evaluation
- Serve as BLS/ACLS instructor and PMDB trainer
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
