Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a BSN-prepared Nurse for a full-time Clinical Faculty role at our Indianapolis Campus. The position involves off-campus clinical site instruction, lab-based teaching, and supervising students in clinical settings.

The successful candidate will promote a positive learning environment, engage students in the clinical experience, and participate in faculty committees. Eligible for CE benefits, PTO, 401K, and stock purchase plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Two or more years full-time RN experience.
• Active IN RN licensure.
• Official transcripts available on request.
• Current BLS certification.

Hondros College of Nursing is looking for a BSN prepared Nurse for a full-time Clinical Faculty role at our Indianapolis Campus!

• Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
• Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
• Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.

Compensation, Benefits & Schedule:

• Full-Time flexible off-site clinical-based scheduling which generally consists of 40 hours per week (generally no Sundays or Holiday scheduling!)

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Hondros College of Nursing follows the requirements set by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and the states in which our campuses operate.
• Two or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
• Active unencumbered State of IN RN licensure.
• Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

General Credentialing Requirements:

Applicants selected and receiving an offer of employment will be required to complete key credentialing requirements for clinical placements prior to being cleared for start. Full detailed information is provided at time of offer. A summary of requirements includes:

• Providing copies of official transcripts for all degrees earned
• Providing a copy of current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS CPR card
• Completion of a physical form (from within the last 12 months)
• MMR
• TDAP/Tetanus
• TB (2 step)
• FLU (October 1 – April 1 hires)
