Job summary

BrightStar Care of TX - Irving / Dallas Metro is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Director (RN) to lead home health nursing services in Irving, TX. You will oversee care delivery, ensure quality, and supervise staff as needed.

The role requires a Texas RN license, ADN, and at least 2 years of hands-on nursing experience in home health, with strong adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

The registered nurse is responsible for quality, adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff. The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and continuous adherence to optimal standards of quality. Responsibilities

• Care for individual based on personalized Plan of Care, Informthe Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the client’s conditions and needs.
• Counsel clients and familiesthrough care process, treatments, expectations, indications, precautions, and providing detailed support while maintaining privacy and dignity with each individual client. Maintain communication withdesignated family members on a regular basis.
• Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Participate in agency performance improvement activities and continuously staying informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care

Requirements

• Home health experience is a must.
• Candidates with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) are encouraged to apply.
• Recent graduates with home health experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on nursing experience required.
• Wound Care is a plus and Proficiency in IV skills and blood draw, Central Line maintenance including, but not limited to; access/de-access/aseptic technique utilization, identification ofinfection risks/signs and symptoms(ability and willingness for training asneeded), collection of laboratory specimens required.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Texas
• Experience with Infusions is a plus
• Experience performing nursing assessments is a plus
• Reliable car/auto insurance and Clean background and Criminal record
• Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
