Job summary

IFS is seeking a full-time Cleaner to join our Janitorial Services Team in a fast-paced environment in Massachusetts. The role involves cleaning restrooms, offices, and common areas, with days/nights and weekends as needed to support operations.

As a union-represented employer, benefits may be provided through the CBA. This position offers a path to growth within a growing team and provides opportunities to work with leadership in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work.
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
• Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
• Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and chemical handling sheets in English (may include Spanish where state required).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash.
• Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times.
• Clean totes and other items.
• Some deep cleaning, as needed.
• Follow all safety and quality standards.
• Other basic janitorial duties as assigned.
