Job summary

UPS in Newark, NJ is hiring for a permanent driver role requiring a Class A CDL and HazMat endorsement. You will operate tractor-trailer units to residential and commercial deliveries, load and unload using pallet movers and stand-up forklifts, and maintain top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL in home state.
• HazMat endorsement required.

• Compliance with company appearance guidelines and uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• On the Road: Safely operate a tractor-trailer unit to pick up and deliver shipments to residential and commercial properties.
• On the Dock: Load, unload, scan, sort, and stock palletized freight using MHE.
• Customer Service: Deliver reliably and safely using our delivery technology while maintaining elite service.

What You’ll Do (The Role)

• On the Road: Safely operate a tractor-trailer unit to pick up and deliver shipments to residential and commercial properties.
• On the Dock: Utilize Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including pallet movers and stand-up forklifts—to load, unload, scan, sort, and stock palletized freight.
• Customer Service: Ensure elite service through timely, efficient, and safe delivery methods while utilizing our delivery technology.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
