Job summary

Nimble in Batesville, IN seeks a Childcare Provider to assist with the care of children up to four years old under the supervision of the lead provider. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 185 days per school year. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe environment and supporting the program team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and First Aid/CPR certification (the corporation can assist with certification). Experience in childcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR Certification (if needed, corporation can assist with certification).
• Experience in a childcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment.
• Assist with ensuring compliance of all childcare center requirements as a Legally Licensed Exempt Provider (LLEP).
• Work with team members, volunteers and guests in the program.
• Address basic interpersonal skills such as sharing, taking turns and asking permission.
• Help children with basic needs such as diaper changing, feeding, etc.
• Assist with supervision of children in all settings.
• Maintain a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for staff and children.
• Other duties as requested as pertain to the care of children in the program.
