Rising Sun Learning Center is seeking a dedicated Child Care Provider to join our team in Louisburg, Kansas. In this fulfilling position, you will create a safe and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow. Training is available for those new to childcare.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, rest time, and outdoor play to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early learning and developmental milestones.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Foster positive social, emotional, and behavioral development through guidance and encouragement.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Comply with mandated reporting requirements and promptly report concerns regarding child safety or welfare.
• Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other daily care routines as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide high-quality care and education.

Qualifications

No Experience Required - We Will Train

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nursery, babysitting, nanny, or similar caregiving setting.
• Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles.
• Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is a plus.
• Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with children, parents, and coworkers.
• CPR, First Aid, Pediatric CPR, and Pediatric First Aid certifications are preferred but not required. Training opportunities may be available.
