Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is seeking a full-time Child Welfare Assistant in Moline, IL. Under the supervision of the program director, you will conduct social work, group and outreach activities for individuals and families.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid Illinois driver’s license with reliable transportation. Benefits include healthcare, PTO, holidays, 403(b), EAP, and flexible hours. Opportunity for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) required.
• AA degree with two years of college preferred.
• Valid driver's license in good standing for the state of residency required.
• Access to reliable transportation for visits, meetings, and to transport clients as needed.
• Illinois CANTS clearance completed or eligible.

Responsabilités

• Perform all tasks as required in the written plan.
• Meet productivity requirements as established by the program director or designee.
• Provide client monitoring and linkage to appropriate services both within LSSI and other community agencies.
• Complete and submit all necessary reports, billing, and documentation accurately and on time as required by agency and funding sources.
• Communicate with supervisor, work group and collateral agencies regarding individual's and/or family's needs.
