Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is hiring a full-time Child Welfare Supervisor to lead CCS program activities across assigned sites. The supervisor will oversee a unit of Child Welfare Specialists and Assistants delivering foster care, adoption, and counseling services in line with agency policies.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in social work or related field, 3–5 years’ social services experience, CWEL license, and supervisory experience.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in social work or related field required.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in social services required.
• State licensing/certification as required by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services required.
• CWEL License active required.
• Supervisory experience in child welfare preferred.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, and pc/computer skills with MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Provide individualized training and feedback to assigned staff to enhance their capabilities.
• Review and evaluate assigned staff.
• Ensure productivity requirements established by the Program Director are met.
• Provide direct supervision and support to staff delivering services per service plan and agency policies.
• Compile, complete, and submit all required data, billings, reports, and documentation accurately and timely.
• Communicates with the Program Director and collateral agencies regarding children’s and/or family status.
• Collaborate with management to address programmatic, fiscal, organization and community issues.
