Bluestem Communities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Chaplain for The Cedars in McPherson, KS to provide compassionate spiritual care to residents, families and staff in alignment with our Christian mission.

The Chaplain will lead worship services, offer pastoral care, grief support, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic well-being across aging and life transitions. Required: seminary or graduate degree, ministerial credentials, CPE or equivalent pastoral ministry

Qualifikationen

Seminary or graduate degree in caring ministry.
Ministerial credentials in good standing.
One unit of CPE or three years pastoral experience.

Aufgaben

Develop meaningful relationships with residents through visitation.
Provide spiritual and emotional support in care settings and end-of-life contexts.
Lead worship services, Bible studies, and devotional gatherings.
Coordinate religious programs and volunteer support for worship/visitation.
Provide grief support and pastoral counseling for residents and families.
Connect faith resources with residents, families, and staff.
Maintain confidentiality and participate in leadership planning.
