Job summary

Riverton Surgery Center is actively seeking a Certified Scrub Tech for a full-time role in Riverton, UT. The position offers comprehensive benefits through Surgery Partners and a Monday–Friday schedule from 07:00 to 15:30, with no weekends or holidays.

The CST will ensure sterilization, maintain a sterile field, and assist the surgical team during procedures. Minimum qualifications include BLS and completion of an Accredited ORT program, with preferred CST certification and timeline for

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program (ORT).

Responsibilities

• Ensures room and all surgical items meet sterilization criteria.
• Maintains sterile field and safe environment.
• Prepares room and instruments for surgical procedure. May assist with sterile processing.
• Assists the surgical staff during the procedure, within the scope of practice.
• After procedure, cleans room and prepares for next procedure.
• Identifies emergency situations and exercises judgment when implementing procedures to respond to emergencies.
