Riverton Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Scrub Tech (CST) for a full-time role in Riverton, UT. The position includes working weekdays with no weekends, nights, or holidays and offers comprehensive benefits through Surgery Partners.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterile fields, preparing rooms and instruments, and assisting surgical staff. Candidates should have ORT program completion and BLS certification, with preferred active national certification and timely

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Completion of an accredited ORT program.

Responsabilités

• Ensures room and all surgical items meet sterilization criteria.
• Maintains sterile field and safe environment.
• Recognizes and addresses sharps and fire safety processes.
• Prepares room and instruments for surgical procedure. May assist with sterile processing.
• Assists the surgical staff during the procedure, within the scope of practice.
• After procedure, cleans room and prepares for next procedure.
• Identifies emergency situations and exercises judgment when implementing procedures to respond to emergencies.
