Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service

• Provides excellent customer service by following Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds promptly to customer and employee inquiries, guiding them through projects as needed.
• Expresses genuine appreciation to customers.
• Communicates product information, including stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties.
• Contacts customers regarding deliveries and coordinates with truck drivers.

In-stock

• Plans delivery schedules, prepares loading tickets, and ensures on-time delivery.
• Prepares merchandise for delivery, builds and secures loads, and loads trucks within payload limits.
• Inspects products before loading and assists customers with loading when necessary.
• Verifies invoice items against loaded quantities, descriptions, and model numbers.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Updates delivery and route statuses in tracking systems.
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
• Performs vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness, and reports repairs for delivery vehicles.
• Completes DOT reporting to maintain certifications and compliance.
• Detects security risks like shoplifting and reports them promptly.
• Maintains store cleanliness and organization per safety standards.
• Follows safety protocols, including the use of safety devices and equipment.
• Operates store equipment as required for the specific role.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with appropriate endorsements, depending on operation type.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Ability to obtain necessary sales-related licenses or registrations.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• One year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• Six months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• Three months of forklift or Moffett operation experience.
