Responsibilities include:

1. Providing SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
2. Assisting customers with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise based on their needs.
3. Responding promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, including walking them through projects when necessary.
4. Expressing sincere appreciation to customers.
5. Communicating information about stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
6. Coordinating deliveries with customers and truck drivers.

Essential Functions:

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service consistently.
• Assist customers in locating and loading merchandise.
• Respond to questions and guide customers through projects.
• Show appreciation to customers.
• Inform customers about products, features, and warranties.
• Coordinate delivery communications.

In-stock

• Plan and execute delivery activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Pull, build, and load merchandise within payload limits.
• Inspect products before loading.
• Verify invoice items with loaded quantities.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Ensure loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Update delivery status in tracking systems.
• Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
• Maintain vehicle inspections and cleanliness.
• Complete DOT reporting and ensure CDL compliance.
• Identify security risks and report them.
• Maintain store and work area cleanliness and organization.
• Follow safety standards and operate store equipment as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with appropriate endorsements.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Legal ability to obtain required licensure and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year of semi-truck/trailer driving experience or certification.
• 6 months of in-home delivery or retail customer service experience.
• 3 months of forklift or Moffett operation experience.
