AMERICAN FURNITURE RENTAL, INC. is seeking a Full-Time CDL Class A Driver / Furniture Mover to join our Durham, NC team.

The role involves delivering and picking up merchandise, maintaining vehicle condition, and ensuring accurate paperwork, with overnight travel possible. Pay ranges from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour DOE, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid vacation, PTO, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a similar industry with warehousing/inventory knowledge.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug test.
• Must operate a 26’ box truck.
• Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
• Languages: English and Spanish preferable; verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely, professionally, and courteously at all times.
• Deliver products according to scheduled routes between warehouses, vendors, and customers.
• Verify deliveries match invoices and shipping documentation.
• Maintain vehicles in clean and safe working condition; report maintenance needs.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Overnight travel may be required for up to three days per week (hotel provided).
