Job summary

Croell Concrete Products is seeking a full-time heavy haul truck driver to move asphalt equipment and related heavy machinery across the region. The role involves short-haul delivery to stay home nightly and supporting other heavy haul operations during lulls in asphalt season.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, pre/post trip inspections, and safe operation of trucks and conveyors. A Class A CDL and DOT medical card are required, with 1–3 years of hauling experience and a strong

Qualifications

• CDL-A license with current Medical DOT card is required.
• 1–3 years of equipment hauling experience.
• Mechanical background and skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Dependability and reliability in showing up on time.
• Positive attitude to foster teamwork and safety.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections and assist with repairs as needed.
• Operate other heavy equipment to move parts and materials when required.
• Record maintenance issues in the truck logbook and inform supervisor of safety concerns.
• Assist with setting up and tearing down job sites at mining locations.
• Enforce and promote company safety standards at all times.
• Assist with machine maintenance and repairs.
• Unplug and clear conveyors or screens and repair conveyors as needed.
• Demonstrate teamwork and willingness to cross-train.
• Perform duties outside the normal scope as required.
