Happy Valley Casino in State College, PA is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to support our Food & Beverage team. This role ensures a clean, safe kitchen environment in a fast-paced casino setting, reporting to the Executive Chef and assisting with daily operations.

The successful candidate will perform routine dishwashing, uphold health regulations, and help maintain equipment, floors, and overall sanitation while supporting guest service and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dishwashing, janitorial, kitchen utility, or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, if required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and varying shifts as business needs require.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation practices preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine cleaning of dishes, glasses, flatware, cookware, and other kitchen items.
• Maintaining standards of cleanliness and adhering to all Department of Health regulations.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary condition of all kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of floors, mats, drains, and related kitchen areas.
• Ensuring proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment based on established procedures and predetermined inventory levels.
• Assisting other kitchen and utility personnel as needed to support daily operations.
• Promoting outstanding guest service and positive team member relations.
• Disposing of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies and sanitation standards.
• Following all workplace safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Assisting with opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties as assigned.
• Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Being available to work flexible schedules based on the needs of the business, including weekends and holidays.
