Cole Hardware in San Francisco's Russian Hill neighborhood is hiring a FULL TIME Cashier Associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale. A friendly, helpful attitude and a warm voice are essential for in-person and phone interactions.

The role includes greeting customers, handling transactions, assisting with product location, stocking, and keeping checkout areas clean. The wage range is $20.00 per hour, with full-time 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Cash handling experience a plus.
• Weekend and evening availability.
• Full Time - 40 hours/week.
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive representation of Cole Hardware.
• Greet every customer with a smile as they enter the store.
• Follow all register transaction and cash handling procedures.
• Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
• Answer and monitor all phone calls and radio communications promptly.
• Help customers locate products and navigate the store.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging of merchandise.
• Ensure checkout and entrance areas remain neat and clean at all times.
• Assist with keeping impulse counters stocked and faced.
• All other duties as assigned, including training on general product knowledge and in-store services
