Job summary

Cole Hardware in San Francisco is seeking a Full Time Cashier Associate for the North Beach location. You will deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale, greet customers warmly, handle transactions, and help customers find products with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

The role requires a bright, outgoing personality, weekend/evening availability, and the ability to maintain a neat, efficient checkout area while supporting store operations and product knowledge training.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Cash handling experience a plus.
• Must be able to handle high stress retail situations.
• Weekend and evening availability.
• Full Time - 40 hours/week.
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting (up to 40 lbs) and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile as they enter the store and assist at the register.
• Follow all register transaction and cash handling procedures.
• Clear checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
• Answer and monitor all phone calls and radio communications promptly and courteously.
• Help customers locate products and navigate the store.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging of merchandise.
• Ensure checkout and entrance areas remain neat and clean at all times.
• All other duties as assigned, including training on general product knowledge and in-store services.
