Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Saddle River, NJ is hiring a Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and companionship. You will follow individualized care plans, promote safety and dignity, and help with dining and mobility in a warm, respectful environment.

This full-time role offers paid training and opportunities for career growth within our mission to enhance quality of life for seniors. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
