Job summary

Visiting Angels – Auburn is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide personalized in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities. You will offer companionship, assist with daily activities, perform light housekeeping, and help with meals and transportation.

A 30-hour-per-week commitment is required, with day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts available. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must commit to at least 30 hours per week.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities preferred.
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with active insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Run errands and grocery shop.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Use a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation.

Visiting Angels is looking for compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers to provide personalized care to seniors and adults with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes.

This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who can commit to at least 30 hours per week and are looking for consistent, meaningful work with a supportive team.

What You'll Do

Minimum Commitment: 30 hours per week

Requirements

• $20/hour flat rate for this position
• Must be able to commit to at least 30 hours per week
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally, preferred
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
• Must genuinely enjoy assisting others
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Active automobile insurance required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation
