Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities in Acton, MA. This role offers stable, meaningful work with a supportive team.

Commitment of at least 30 hours per week across day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts. You may hold CNA/LNA or have related experience. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must commit to at least 30 hours per week.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for seniors or adults with disabilities preferred.
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and active auto insurance.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and documentation.

• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.

This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who can commit to at least 30 hours per week and are looking for consistent, meaningful work with a supportive team.

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders

• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Use a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation

Shifts Available

• Day shifts

• Part-time and full-time opportunities

Minimum Commitment: 30 hours per week

Requirements

• Must be able to commit to at least 30 hours per week

• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally, preferred

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
