Job summary

Visiting Angels - Acton is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide personalized in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. The role emphasizes consistent, meaningful work with a supportive team in a home setting.

Shifts include day, evening, weekend and overnight, with part-time and full-time opportunities. A minimum commitment of 30 hours per week is requested, and candidates should be comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to commit to at least 30 hours per week.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for seniors or adults with disabilities preferred.
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with daily living activities.
• Use a smartphone to clock in/out and document care.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments.

Visiting Angels is looking for compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers to provide personalized care to seniors and adults with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes.

This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who can commit to at least 30 hours per week and are looking for consistent, meaningful work with a supportive team.

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Run errands and grocery shop
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Use a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation

Shifts Available

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Part-time and full-time opportunities

Minimum Commitment: 30 hours per week

Requirements

• Must be able to commit to at least 30 hours per week
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally, preferred
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
• Must genuinely enjoy assisting others
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Active automobile insurance required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation
